As the Guest Country of Honor for the 19th Western China International Fair (WCIF), Thailand will showcase the Thai Pavilion under the theme: "Open. Connect. Balance.” to reassure Thailand’s commitment to improving opportunities for all businesses into the international markets, as enshrined in the 2022 APEC Leader’s Declaration. 

Thai pavilion, decorated with the combination of traditional and modern design, will showcase Thailand's leading companies in China in all sectors including trade, investment, tourism, culture, renewable energy, connectivity, and sustainable development.

The Royal Thai Consulate General in Chengdu has invited more than 60 Thai businesses to participate in the Thai pavilion, all of which will present their top products in food and beverages, cosmetics and skincare, household items, etc., as well as Thailand’s leading services in healthcare, education and tourism.  Thailand’s top investors in Sichuan Province, including CP Group, TCP Group and Sichuan-Thailand Industrial Park, will take part in our effort to strengthen Thailand’s position as China’s leading investment partner.  Moreover, the Thai Pavilion will provide the venue for business cooperation between Thailand and Southwest China. Business matching activities, investment and tourism promotion seminars will be carried out as side events.

As Thailand places great emphasis on cultural and people-to-people exchanges, the cultural dances, arts and handicraft demonstration will be performed daily at the Thai Pavilion. The visitors will enjoy Thai food from   well-known Thai restaurants in Chengdu and fresh tropical fruits imported from Thailand at the Thai Pavilion.
